LOS ANGELES (AP) -- If Ashlee Simpson's wedding is not happening at her parents' home, they're sure going out of their way to fake it.

A flurry of arrangements were apparent Saturday afternoon just outside the guarded gates of Joe Simpson's property, where all signs indicated that the pop singer's wedding to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz was imminent.

White shuttle vans with deeply tinted windows were streaming through the gates. Several delivery vehicles, including those marked as belonging to celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, arrived at the Encino compound.

Those who pulled up to the guard tower were told to park elsewhere and take a shuttle.
